Longford Commons is a voluntary, independent community initiative hosted locally. It is not affiliated with council, state government, or any political party.

What information we collect

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Forms and submissions
If you submit a response, image, drawing, or video link:
- Your contribution may be summarised or displayed publicly as part of Longford Commons.
- Identifying information will not be published without permission.
- You may request removal of your submission at any time by contacting us.
Submissions are reviewed before being published.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website may be able to download and extract location data from images.
If children appear in images, parental or guardian permission may be required before public display.
Mailing list and email updates
If you subscribe to updates, your email address is stored securely through MailerLite.
We use your email address only to send updates about Longford Commons, including exhibitions and gatherings.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Email addresses are not sold or shared.
